• Fitness data: Training goals, race times, experience level, weekly availability
• Voice recordings: When you use voice input to describe your training needs (processed for transcription only)
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate personalised training plans using AI
• Sync workouts to connected fitness platforms (when available)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send important service updates

3. AI and Data Processing

ShredFit uses AI (large language models) to generate training plans. Your fitness information is sent to AI services to create personalised recommendations. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Fitness platforms: To sync your workouts to connected platforms (only if you choose to connect)
• Stripe: For payment processing
• AI providers: To generate training plans (data is not retained by providers)

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure password hashing. However, no system is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Correction: Update inaccurate information
• Deletion: Delete your account and associated data
• Portability: Export your workout history

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account settings. This will permanently remove:

• Your profile and fitness data
• Your workout history
• Your voice recordings

Some data may be retained for legal compliance for up to 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

ShredFit is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
